Twitter click through rates from Mashable

Must have missed this last summer but Mashable have some interesting trend suggestions from some informally collected data.  Essentially it suggests that if you have loads of followers you’ll have itsy bitsy click through rates on your Tweets, whereas if you have small numbers of followers you’re likely to have considerably higher click through rates.  It’s probably not rocket science, the first people who follow you are probably the most interested in what you have to say.  But the numbers are quite marked - 7000 followers shows a click through rate of about 2%, that’s about 140…
